If you have a passion for children engaging in a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ, then volunteering in Met Kids is the right place for you. Met Kids offers many volunteer roles that are different in function but equally contribute to one common purpose: changing lives through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Opportunities to Serve

- Elementary - the elementary ministries, Explore and Extreme, are founded on relationships. Whether you are a Rotation Teacher facilitating object lessons and activities or a Small Group Leader leading the kids with love and excitement throughout the service, you are developing genuine relationships with the kids. As a direct result of these relationships, we pray that the kids will then engage in an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ. - Excite Preschool - The adorable 3 – 5 year olds need outgoing and engaging volunteers who can assist other volunteers in leading classrooms in making the environments fun for kids. We also need volunteers who work well one-on-one with children making them feel comfortable and welcome in the classroom. - Excite Nursery - Our babies (6 weeks – 2 years) need patient and loving volunteers who like to care for and nurture babies. If you would like to get your ‘baby fix’ contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we’ll get you plugged in.

- KidsGreet - a team of outgoing volunteers that greet parents and kids, register them using the computer check in system, lead visitors to classrooms, and assist security by ensuring only authorized people enter the children’s area. - Special Needs - a team that offers assistance for children with special needs during our Saturday night services. These volunteers will “shadow” a special needs child for one-on-one care. - Creative Team - a performance arts ministry in which volunteers communicate biblical truths through exciting and often times hilarious drama segments, puppet skits, and games. - Worship - Met Kids provides live praise and worship music. If you are interested in playing an instrument or leading worship in Met Kids you may audition to be incorporated into the worship rotation. - Students Volunteers - METRO is a program that teaches 6th-12th grade students how to be strong Christian leaders by ministering to children through the performing arts. Service opportunities include weekend services, on-campus events and community outreach projects. The group rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-6:45pm, alternating vocal and dance instruction. METRO JR is an apprentice program for 3rd-5th grade students focused on teaching the basic principles of leadership through Praise & Worship. Active members assist with worship during weekend Met Kids Extreme services as well as monthly Worship Wednesday services. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:15 pm.
