 Pastor Bill and Cindy Ramsey along with a core of twenty-five dedicated people started The Metroport Cities Fellowship, (The Met Church) on August 11,1996 in the auditorium of Carroll High School in Southlake, TX. During the first three years The Met Kids ministry and Cross Culture teen ministry were established. The church grew to an average attendance of over two hundred-fifty in the high school before the opportunity to purchase the old Metro Food store in December 1999.
Since occupying our new building in September of 2008 the church has increased in attendance to over 3000 people each week and over 6000 people call The Met their church home. We are excited about the next phase of our history and our future is as bright as the promises of God.
