It is our desire to partner with parents in ministering to their children. In this partnership, the church will provide a loving, exciting, and Christ-centered environment for the kiddos to learn and apply core biblical truths that revolve around the gospel of Jesus Christ. The church will also provide resources for parents to engage in their child’s spiritual development.
Chatterboxes – a weekly update for parents that gives them the virtue, memory verse, Bible story, bottom line (key concept for the week), and a question for kids (and parents) to talk about on the way home or during a meal.
GodTime cards – four daily devotions to focus kid’s attention as they spend time reading the Bible and talking to God at home. The GodTime cards will re-enforce biblical concepts learned in the weekend services. We encourage parents to set aside 10 or 15 minutes each night facilitating the GodTime cards to their children.
What happens at HOME is more important than what happens at CHURCH.
Parent Time is a monthly resource for parents of kids ages 6 weeks through 23 months (Green and Purple rooms). Parent time is designed to help parents invest in their personal relationship with God in the midst of a time in life when parents may not be getting much sleep and are at times overwhelmed by the demands of being a parent of an infant or toddler. Parent Time can be downloaded by Clicking Here. Small Talk is a monthly resource for parents of kiddos ages 2 – 5 (Red, Blue and Orange rooms). Small Talk is designed to give parents an insight to the weekly Bible lessons taught in the Excite Ministry (preschool) and the monthly themes that are reinforced: Basic Truth, Bottom Line, Memory Verse, and Key Question.
