Met Connect

met-connect

God wants you to take your next step spiritually. That could mean getting baptized, committing to a small group, discovering how God wants to use you to serve others, or just learning more about God’s plan for your life. Met Connection Classes are all about those next steps.

Our Connection Classes meet each week and you can attend them in any order. Through these classes you will learn how to take your next step spiritually and what you can do to develop habits to jump-start your spiritual growth. We are so excited to have you as a part of The Met, and we want to walk alongside you in your steps to follow Christ.

Connect Up: God Connection

This class will help you develop the habits you need to take the next step in your faith. It will give you an overview of basic spiritual habits every Christian needs in order to grow, like daily quiet time with God through prayer and Bible study. (1st weekend of each month during the 9:30 and 11:00am services in Classroom C)

Connect To: Membership Connection

This basic introduction to our church family is designed to clearly explain our beliefs on salvation, Baptism, our statements of purpose, and our church’s strategy and structure. At the end of class, you’ll be given the opportunity to connect to The Met through membership if you desire. (2nd weekend of each month during the 5pm, 9:30 and 11:00am services in Classroom C)

Connect Out: Serving Connection

Serving Connection class is designed for giving of yourself to the service of others. God didn’t design ministry for just a few – he made each one of us a minister. At this class you’ll learn how God can use your Spiritual Gifts, your Heart, your Abilities, your Personality, and your Experiences (S.H.A.P.E.) to minister to the needs of others. (3rd weekend of each month during the 9:30 and 11:00am services in Classroom C)

Connect In: People Connection

People Connection class is designed to help find a fit where you receive ministry in for growth and maturity. Come join us as we discover more about our call to be connected with other believers and the connect opportunities provided at The Met! We have many ministries and groups to help you grow spiritually and to connect you with others in our church family - including groups that are centered on Bible study, fellowship, missions and special interests. (4th weekend of each month during the 9:30 and 11:00am services in Classroom C)
