Word Power

The Bible was written over a period of more than 1,500 years by at least forty authors. And yet, even though all these different men wrote at different times, the message they wrote is always the same, without any contradiction in any details. What we think about God's Word, and how we react to it, reflects what we think about God Himself. In our new series “Word Power” we are going to talk about the truth of the Bible and how to apply the truth to our every day lives.

Happy Mother's Day

A mother has to take on many roles in her family. They are nurses, doctors, psychologists, counselors, chauffeurs and coaches. Mothers are developers of personalities, molders of vocabularies, and shapers of attitudes. But most important, mothers are a link to God. A child’s first impression of God’s love comes from their mom. Join us this weekend as we celebrate moms and look at the unique love that God shines through them.

Happy?

Does God want us to be happy? Or is God some kind of cosmic killjoy who wants to take away all our fun? The reality is that we were all designed to be happy and that’s why you search for it at every turn. But the Bible explains that we were also designed to find our ultimate satisfaction and happiness in God. In our new series “Happy” we are going to explore the pitfalls that take away our happiness and discover the way to living a life of true happiness. Psalm 34:8 , “Taste and see that the Lord is good; happy is the man who takes refuge in Him.”

Who Wants To Live Forever

Have you ever wondered what happens when you die? All of us from time to time have struggled with that question. Is there life beyond this life? Join us this Easter for 1 of our 5 services as we reveal God’s plan for you to live forever. God loves you so much that He sent His Son to die for you. John 3:16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Do you want to live forever? It can be a reality this Easter, it just comes down to what you believe.

Faith Works

Faith is only as valid as the object in which it's placed. Faith placed in God and His promises is the kind of faith that believes beyond the limits of this life. In our series "Faith Works" we are going to discover how our faith is demonstrated by our actions. James 2:18 Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

On Target

In life you always hit what you are aiming at, so if your target isn’t God’s best, then you’re missing the mark. In our new series “On Target” we are taking aim at all areas of life: marriage, relationships, parenting, work, faith and we are going to show you how to hit God’s best. Join us and find out how to be on target in living out God’s plan for your life. Philippians 3:12 “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.”

It's The Most...

Christmas is the “Most” time of the year. Some people would say it’s the most wonderful, anticipated and satisfying time. While others would say it’s the most stressful, expensive and depressing time. Christmas has a way of bringing out the best and worse in everyone. In our new series “It’s the most…” we are going to the very heart of what God intended for Christmas. Join us each weekend and discover how to get the “Most” out of God, so God can get the “Most” out of you.

Eye To I

We use the phrase seeing eye to eye to confirm that we are in agreement. God is very clear in showing us His vision for our life but too many of us are missing living God's best because we aren't on the same page with Him. In our new series "Eye To I" we are going to reveal what God's perfect plan for our life is and what we need to do to live it out. God wants the very best for us but that only happens when we see things eye to eye with Him.
2 Corinthians 3:18 "And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."

RedZone

The red zone refers to the last 20 yards before the end zone on a football field. When a team has advanced into this territory, it is expected that they will score. How well a team performs in the red zone can often determine the outcome of a game. In our new series “RedZone” we are going to examine the words of Jesus and how He has given us a game plan for our life. In this series we will reveal the keys to living the winning life that God has planned for you. Matthew 13:35 “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”

24/7

Is God just a Sunday thing? In today's fast-paced world with so many things to do and so little time to do it, it seems like fitting God into our schedule, let alone our life, gets harder and harder. In our new series 24/7, we're going to show you it's not about how to fit God into your crowded calendar but about adjusting your priorities so your life fits into God. Each week we will show you how God has a perfect plan for your life and how to make the most out of every day.  Psalm 118:24 "This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it."

Christian

Have you ever thought about what makes someone a Christian? We all have opinions of what a Christian should look like, what a Christian should do, and what makes a Christian, but did you ever realize that Jesus never referred to anybody as being a Christian?  In our new series we are going to explore the myths people associate with being a Christian and uncover the truth about what it means to truly follow Christ.  John 10:27 "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them and they follow me."

PUSH

The disciples saw all the wonderful works of Jesus, they saw all the miracles but the one thing they asked Him was how to pray.  In our new series PUSH, we are going to discover what Jesus taught about prayer and give you insight on how to improve your own personal prayer life. Philippians 4:6 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

Un1te

A major problem within the church today is that we don’t see ourselves as partners in ministry. It isn’t me against you, or our church against their church, or our denomination against your denomination. It’s God’s people against the Devil. God’s ambition for His people is simple – unity. Unity is not uniformity. Unity is a team of unique individuals working together for a common objective. God wants us to live together in a partnership with Him and with one another. In our new series “Un1te” we are going to show you what God has called you to do and give you all the tools you need to live a life worthy of that calling.

Overcome

John 16:33I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Everyday we face a world that wants to infect our mind, zap our strength, break our heart and battles for our soul. This shouldn’t come as a surprise as the Bible tells us that Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy. So how do we defend ourselves? How do we overcome what the world is throwing at us? In our new series “Overcome” we are looking at the strategies of Satan and how God has given us the ammunition to battle anything that comes our way.

Healthy Heart

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? It can be loving one minute and jealous the next.  It can make us feel guilty but then offer forgiveness.  It can produce anger but then promotes peace.  It can be greedy and then generous.  The heart is the center of the human spirit and it determines our emotions, thoughts, motivations and actions.  In this series, Healthy Heart, we're going to discover how to have a heart for God above all else.

Out Of The Box

The New Year is a great time because we all make resolutions to do things that will make our lives better. Unfortunately, they are the same ones from a year before because we weren’t able to accomplish them. So why is it that we aren’t able to carry them out? Is it our fears, or maybe our lack of faith that keeps us from actually accomplishing our goals? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. God wants you to get the most out of life, but you’ve got to be willing to go to places you’ve never been before. In this series we are going to explore the fears and our lack of faith that keep us from living the life God has for us. Hebrews 11:1Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Classic Christmas

We all have memories of what makes Christmas great, whether it was a place that you got to go to celebrate Christmas, or family and friends that you spent it with or even a particular gift that you received.  Each memory holds a special place in our hearts, and this year at the Met we're going to look at the place, who was there and the gift that makes Christmas classic.

How To Say No When You Want To Say Yes

Our special guest, Dr. Jerry Thorpe, brings us a compelling message about how to deal with the temptations of this world.

6:33

The good news is that we can have all of God that we want but the bad news is that we have all of God that we want. We all strive to live closer to God but unfortunately we put other things before him. In our series 6:33, we are going to help you figure out how to put God first in every area of your life so that you can receive all that God has to offer. Matthew 6:33 says "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

Going Deep

In our relationship with God most of us barely scratch the surface. In our new series Going Deep we're going to extend far below the surface and help you be completely absorbed with who God is and who He can be in your life. Philemon 1:6 says "I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ." So join us and discover all the good things that you can find in Christ.
