The Met Church has a benevolence process to provide assistance to Met Church members in need.  The following steps will help you in this process:

  1. Contact the Met Church Office: 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday or 9am-2pm on Friday.
  2. Set up an appointment and fill out an application
  3. Come to scheduled appointment with I.D. and Proof of Income
  4. Participate in the Food Pantry assistance for 2 months

The benevolence process is provided to Met Church members and regular attenders based on need and fund availability, and is typically only available one time.  The benevolence committee will review your application and contact you within 7-10 business days.

In addition to our Benevolence Program through the Food Pantry the Met Church provides annually:

The Met Thanksgiving Food Drive: Every year The Met Church has a Thanksgiving Food Drive for the Community, giving over 1000 bags of groceries to provide a Thanksgiving meal during the week of Thanksgiving.
Christmas Giving Tree: In conjunction with our Met Thanksgiving Drive The Met Church also provides hundreds of Christmas Gifts to families in need.

Once you apply for our Food Pantry you are eligible to participate in our Thanksgiving Food bag & Christmas Giving Tree.
