About My Trip
As many of you know I had the chance to go to Uganda last summer on my first mission trip. I have the opportunity to go again and I am beyond excited! Many of you prayed for me, loved me, supported me, and encouraged me along the way and I am still so thankful for that! I'm asking for help again and I can't do it without y'all!
The Met Church has been sending a team to Uganda for the last several years to work alongside God Cares School and Orphanage in Kampala, Uganda. The orphanage was started as an outreach to children who are victims of Africa's AIDS pandemic, who are alone and poverty stricken. Their mission is to love and care for these little ones and help them get an education so they can rise above their current circumstances.
My goal is to raise $3,200 for the trip by December 31st, 2016. All donations are tax deductible! In addition to my personal expenses; donations will fund mission projects performed at God Cares School, as well as go to purchase items we will be taking to the children (clothes, shoes, medical supplies, books, games, and other essential items.)
I would like to humbly ask for your support in anyway you can!
About The Met
The Met Church has gone to Uganda since 2012 and we are proudly sending our 6th mission team in 2017. We sponsor the God Cares Schools and the Dongo family. Our current mission project is the Met Mom's Village where we will help provide safe housing and jobs for the moms of children at the God Cares schools who are in a destitute situation. If you would like to help sponsor a member of the team to go or the Met Moms village click on the link below to give.
