About My Trip

Hi! My name is Dylan Ogle, and I am 17 years old. I’ve been serving with the church for a very long time now. I am one of the worship leaders for the Middle School and High School services.  I’m also a 7th grade small group assistant every Sunday.

A couple months ago the members of last year’s Uganda Mission Team spoke at one of our High School services. They talked to us about the amazing things that God did while they were there, and I was extremely touched by everything they shared. God began to stir a desire in my heart to go this year.  I couldn't seem to get the idea of going to Uganda out of my head. With that in mind, I began praying daily and asking God for discernment about this big decision.  I truly feel that God’s plan is for me to embark on this life changing endeavor.

I am humbled and honored to be a part of this year’s Uganda Mission Team.  Not only will this trip give me a new perspective on life, but it will definitely give me a new perspective on how I see and worship my Heavenly Father. Truthfully I cannot put into words how overjoyed I am to be going on this trip. I pray that you will be keeping me and the entire mission team in your prayers as we prepare to go to Uganda this year.  Pray that God will prepare our hearts and use us for His purpose to touch the lives of others in remarkable ways.

My Goal is to raise $3,200 to be able to go to Uganda. All donations are tax deductible! In addition to my personal expenses, donations will fund mission projects performed at God Cares School.  Donations will also be used to purchase items that we will be taking to the children (clothes, shoes, medical supplies, books, games, and other essential items.)

Thank you again for your prayers and support.

Hebrews 6:10~ “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”

Romans 12:1~ “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
