About My Trip

Being able to have the opportunity to travel across the world to spread my faith with others is a true blessing. This experience is a call from God, telling me I need to continue spreading His word and impacting the world in extraordinary ways. Over the past ten months, God has changed my life for the best, and He continues to test my faith with more extensive and substantial challenges.  Going to serve in Uganda is by far his largest challenge for me. I’m extremely eager to share and spread my faith with all of the wonderful people I will be meeting. My goal is to not only spread my faith to others and help the less fortunate, but also to truly recognize first hand how fortunate I am and to realize the great impact God has on all lives. I am not going on this trip for myself or for a vacation; I am following what God has called me to do.  Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” This is a life changing opportunity and I am beyond fortunate to have the opportunity to go, and I thank everyone for their love and support.

About The Met

The Met Church has gone to Uganda since 2012 and we are proudly sending our 6th mission team in 2017. We sponsor the God Cares Schools and the Dongo family. Our current mission project is the Met Mom's Village where we will help provide safe housing and jobs for the moms of children at the God Cares schools who are in a destitute situation. If you would like to help sponsor a member of the team to go or the Met Moms village click on the link below to give.
